Best resort in the region!

Solanas is a superb resort where there‘s a plethora of amenities and activities to do. From adventure parks and horse rides to paintball and quadricycle rides, they’ve got it covered! There have great swimming pools and they’ve got their own “crystal beach”, amazing. The location is really good since they are close to the famous “Casapueblo”, Portezuelo and Tio Tom beach, Punta Ballena, Punta del Este, among others. The service was also great, and I also got some good discounts in Tienda Inglesa, Punta Shopping and other stores. Nice place with forest, beaches and several attractions

Solanas is a good location where you have very good facilities including “crystal beach”. Solanas Resort Uruguay

I am in love with Solanas. Every year since I'm only 3 years old, I go with my family to this beautiful resort one week at winter holidays. It is the perfect place to be with family and friends or even alone. You will only find peace and nature. Activities for both children and adults as well, there's no way you could get bored. With its own beach or different heater pools to choose whatever you want to. Horse, bike rides or a simple walk through the forest Solanas is an unique and beautiful place. False Advertizing.

I'd like to make a false advertising warning on this property. We just checked in yesterday, the photos show a big pool, the amenities listed say there is a big pool included in the stay while other things like horse riding is extra. When we checked it the lady handed us a sheet that had the crystal beach included in the services. She even circled and confirmed it was included in our stay. However, when we got here, they turned us away at the pool. It turned out, we have to pay $10 each extra to use the pool. Considering we are paying $500 USD for two nights to stay in a mediocre hotel, you'd think this would either be told to us when we checked in. We had to walk 20 min back all the way to the reception just so we can pay the fee to use the pool. It wasn't about the money but the fact that with a kid, we now had to turn back and go to the reception to get another wrist band. This is something that should be CLEARLY stated everywhere, as the big pool is basically the selling feature of this sad resort. Upon checking out, they wouldn’t even let us keep our towel cards for the day, since our flight wasn’t until 9pm. This hotel tries really hard to make your stay inconvenient.
