Awesome Trip!

My family and I had a great trip (husband and 2 kids age 9 and 11). It was our first time at Lake Placid. So glad we stayed here. We used our Disney points and converted them to RCI. The rooms are huge and beautiful. Gorgeous fireplace. 2 TVs. Deck and patio. Our view was of mountains and golf course. The 2 women who work in the office are very helpful and kind. I called many times with questions before and during my stay and they were always pleasant to speak to. Our cards didn't open the door when we checked in and a nice man came promptly to give us working cards and he came the next day to fix our TV in the bedroom and give us a chair for outside. He was very nice and helpful both times.This is our first RCI experience. I would love to buy a timeshare there if one becomes available in the summer. We can't wait to go back! One of the nicest exchanges we've ever stayed

We did an RCI exchange to get in, with lots of advance time. Very expensive on a points exchange. But the location, design and amenities were great - high valuter ceiling, only a block to the lake, nicely appointed kitchen, nicely maintained grounds and loved the BBQ grills.. Loved it! Spacious but outdated

Pluses of Lake Placid Club lodges: Very spacious, 2 floors, high ceilings, fireplace, deck and terrace, close walk to town and beach, overall decently appointed. Negatives: Unrenovated with outdated kitchen and bathrooms (1980s?) and in need of white walls to bring it into the 21st century. (Unit with pumpkin spice and brownish/taupe wall colors.) Some units (numbered in 20s) with views of parking lots only which was very disappointing though as per literature some units with lake or mountains views so you might be able to determine beforehand what you will be getting. There was a sauna and spa tub in our unit's downstairs bathroom which was not necessary for us but maybe would appeal to some. Great Spring Break getaway

Our family of four really enjoyed this Lake Placid property. It is centrally located to so many outdoor activities and close walking distance to the south end of Mirror lake and Main Street. We didn’t expect the weather to be so gorgeous (sunny all week and 60-70!) so we carefully chose this place because the units are excellent! We really enjoyed the in-unit jacuzzi, sauna, and wood burning fire place. The kitchen was very spacious and in great repair with all necessary items. The bedrooms had updated furniture and clean white linens. We appreciated the loft/den area for working or relaxing, or just extra space to spread out. The outdoor grill came in handy with the great weather, and lots of families were riding bikes, playing ball, and generally enjoying the outdoors. One comment I have is that the parking was a bit limited during the weekend, so we had to use overflow parking. It wasn’t a problem at all in good weather, but I could see this being a bit far if it was snowing/raining. Overall a great stay and I would highly recommend! Very restful

Came up here with 2 other couples to relax, play cards etc. We are staying in a condo that sleeps 8. Has all that we need to be comfortable.
