Very enjoyable stay

We were pleased with our unit and the surrounding grounds. Quiet and safe building. Close to great snorkeling, great hikes and of course the ocean/beach. The only thing lacking is a fitness center of some kind. However, there were lots of healthy things to do outside, so we didn't miss it all that much. The building and units have been restored nicely. The washrooms at the pool could be upgraded, but were clean and adequate. We'll come again. Great Location

We had a 1 bedroom on the 1st floor (F105) as a timeshare exchange through Interval International. We arrived about 9:30 pm - I had called ahead, so I knew the office would be closed - we picked up the after-hours phone, connected with the Sands, they took our information and gave us the code for the lock box with our room key in it. There is only an ac unit in the living room, but there was a stand fan in the closet that we utilized - during the day we had it in the hallway blowing the cooler air towards the bedroom & at night we had it in the bedroom doorway. There are also ceiling fans in both the living & bedrooms. We were never overly hot. There is a full-size stackable washer & drier in the kitchen closet, even a bucket of laundry soap (unheard of!). There's plenty of space for storing your bathroom essentials - a full linen closet with space; and there's extra towels & supplies (your pool towels are here too). There's also dish soap, dishwasher detergent and paper towels in the kitchen. There's plenty of hot water and water pressure. The shower head was a little low lol. The bed was comfortable, not too hard. And the couch & chairs were comfortable - not common! We did have a maintenance issue our first night - apparently they aren't on site either, but he did come within about a half hour. He was very pleasant and efficient. We felt bad disturbing his Saturday night. The pool is nice and even has a handicap chair. There are 2 gas BBQ grills for use. There is public beach access across the street, or you can go just down the street to the Sands of Kahana and use their chairs & beach access. They also have a place to rent boards, equipment & umbrellas. Lahaina is only about a 15 minute drive. We got groceries at Safeway and there was another grocery store on 30. Don't Bother

Hello, I requested early check-in since we arrived at 9am, front desk seemed surprise when I asked why I hadn't been reached. So, she made up an excuse. The place only has A/C in the living room and no where else. The first day, we had to call because 3 light bulbs were out and the rooms were dark. Heat rises, so the upstairs rooms were hot!. the master bedroom over looks the main living area, so if the kids were up playing cards, we can hear everything. We slept with 3 fans on the entire time and that still wasn't enough. the lanai had a dead bird, bird poop everywhere and in need of a good power wash the glass was filthy. Throughout the condo there were bugs everywhere. More lightbulbs went out, the microwave and coffee maker died too. The pool area was ok, no sauna. We actually used the hotel across the streets pool/sauna and they had a restaurant with a bar and was lively and a great beach. We stayed there 8 days, I called after day 5 asking if they can come and tidy the beds, vacuum, sweep and change out towels. What I found when we returned was a stack of clean towels on the table and a vacuum. I assumed they expected us to clean. I won't be staying here again. The front desk is only open until 12noon, but they have a phone to call and get checked in. Room view was good, unit was clean, property well keep. Ask for an air unit, other wise you have fans. Nice Resort

Having an air conditioning unit in Maui was key. It kept our unit nice and cool. The unit itself was clean and had many nice amenities. The location is very nice close to everything we were interested in. The beach was close and very enjoyable. The staff and manager were amazing and friendly.
