Old School but Well Maintained

I am from SoCal and there are very few available timeshare locations north of LA w/in 1-1.5 hrs drive from the SFV and Hollywood. Harbortown Marina met our needs. The staff was helpful and friendly. We were lucky to get an exchange week and stayed in a 1 bdrm w/ a harbor view. Although the interior and furnishings are dated, the property is well maintained. We did not spend that much time in the room as we were on the go visiting the local beaches the many attractions in the LA area. Recommend bringing a tablet or other device if want to watch streaming channels (Netflix et al). The wifi is not great, but we managed. We look forward to a return visit! Convenient location

This is a partial time share resort. If it wasn’t for the location that it is we would give up on this place. Venture offers a great area for exploring different places to recreate but staying at this resort is a challenge. After a full day of biking, golfing beaching, walking, or just touring one hopes to relax and maybe watch something on the TV. Unless you satisfied with the worst tv you will Ever experience, this place is # 1. Channel 2 & 4 are The Only local channels and there is a small amount of other channels available. We have complained and all they say it’s not their fault. The company have been telling us its Edison fault. For 2 years. Nothing has changed. Then there is the wi-fi. That another area that is real week, Right now I am sitting in a room that the signal is hap hazard, so streaming is not available. This Resort is nice but very hard to enjoy. Nice location

This resort has a great location and can be very enjoyable if you happen to get the right room. Location, location. location ! The key is getting a room with a nice view and some quiet to enjoy the ample terrace or balcony. The rooms around the pool aren't the greatest for noise and are quite dark most of the day ( a bit depressing). Trimming the large tree in the pool area would let more light in and a bit of a view as well. Our front door to the unit was on the boatyard and could be quite noisy. Couch was very uncomfortable, beds were ok. Unit is a bit crowded, more furniture than needed. They supplied the units well, everything you would need was there. If you luck out with one of the ocean view or ocean front units it's great (unfortunately we did not). Spending a week in a dark room with no natural light is not my idea of comfortable . The balcony area was large but dark as well ( they really need to trim the large tree around the pool). I would not return or recommend unless room location could be guaranteed ! good location but no unobstructed views

Check in time was 4pm and check out time was 10am, not cool. Also there is a HUGE barge in front of the ocean views. Lots of older people, not really kid friendly, great side views of ocean if you walk away from resort/ships in the way. very clean. nobody bothers you. that was nice. Good location in between everything. Office people not that friendly but at least 1 lady was and also changed my room so I could have a "view" of harbor. They canceled, no recommendation!

The cancelled my vacation on the day of my arrival. They did not offer to rebook my vacation. Totally unprofessional and I would be carful with these clowns. This is a nice location but it is very difficult to park your car there due to one way streets an the maps being totally useless. The cancelled my vacation on the day of my arrival.
